Organised by NMAG India under the Ear Training Program of the Musicality Evaluation Examination (MEE) Board of Music, in association with NIOPS (NMAG India Online Programs)

The Ear Training Workshop on Scale Recognition is developed to empower musicians with the core ability to identify and distinguish musical scales by ear, creating a solid foundation for melodic analysis, improvisation, and performance. Integrated into the Ear Training Program of the MEE Board, this workshop offers structured, progressive training aimed at unlocking fluency in melodic listening and musical comprehension.

Workshop Scope

Participants will engage with:

• Scale Types and Patterns – Mastering the sound and shape of major, minor, modal, pentatonic, and chromatic scales.
