The NMAG Board of Art & Culture Grading & Proficiency Framework establishes the official assessment, grading and certification structure for Grades 1–9 across the Board's approved artistic and musical disciplines.

The framework is designed to provide a transparent, consistent and progressive method of evaluating candidates while recognizing both academic knowledge and practical artistic competency.

The Framework Includes

• A+ to F Letter Grade System
• Percentage-Based Assessment
• Proficiency Levels from Basic Proficiency to Exceptional
• Pass and Achievement Award classifications
• Competency-Based Assessment and Musical Proficiency Profiles
• Grade 1–9 progression framework
• Examiner assessment and standardization principles
